Countries at this military/defense sales/exibit show are selling all kinds of hardware. They are spending bilions of dollars to upgrade their military.
After watching "Doc Zone" last night I realized that the bulk of what many of these Countries are buying todays technology. These in priniple are buying with a mindset of how our WARS have been fought (and still) in the past, with personel!
Tomorrows wars will be fought with manless drones and robotics!
It is foolish for a country to spend over $3 billion to buy soon to be archaic produts. Better off, wiser developing their own robotics/drone technology.
Of course these purchases will create more wealth for a few and employment for many but it will be wasted resources that could be better spent elsewhere.

The same ones the buyers are buying from are the ones still pitching that personnel requirement angle.

couldn't tell that, the way they're spending tax payers dollars on plane fuel cost around here.

I don't know if you've noticed or not, but it's those same countries spending that kind of money on war machines, that are the same ones really in need of farming equipments, medical facilities and infrastructures; importing their foods and medicals, while ruling by their new found arms.
