Peddie says next mayor needs vision

At the end of this truthful article, Mr. Peddie finishes it by saying, "he wishes that one of these (the 5 in the media) candidates will rise to the occasion of having some kind of long term "Vision".
Why does he not include other candidates vying for this "race". If he did his job or work properly he would notice that at least one of the "Fringe" candidates has that "Vision" many seem to be talking about and/or missing.
